Business communication is an important competency for vocational high school students because it supports their ability to understand, manage, and communicate financial and tax-related information in a professional context. However, students often have limited understanding of the relationship between effective business communication, financial management, accounting, and modern taxation practices. This community service activity aimed to deepen students’ holistic understanding of business communication from the perspectives of finance and modern tax accounting while strengthening their practical skills in applying the concepts to business situations. The activity was conducted at SMKS Mutiara Bangsa, Kemiri, Tangerang, during August–September 2025. The program involved five lecturers and students from the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program, Universitas Pamulang, and was attended by 50 students. The implementation consisted of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting. During the implementation stage, learning activities were delivered through material presentations, practical exercises, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The activities emphasized the integration of business communication with basic financial management, accounting information, and modern taxation concepts. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of accurate, clear, and responsible financial and tax communication. Students also demonstrated greater ability to connect accounting and taxation concepts with practical business communication. Overall, the activity contributed to strengthening students’ financial literacy, tax awareness, and readiness for professional business environments.
